Coe College students intern with a variety of business and organizations, locally and across the country. Nearly 100 students logged internship hours over the summer and/or fall of 2023. Nearly 300 Kohawks graduated in the 2022-23 academic year. The graduating Kohawks demonstrated excellence in academics, athletics and the arts; were leaders in research and community service; and completed thousands of internship hours with local, national and international organizations. They leave Coe equipped with the resumes and determination to expand their leadership roles into their budding professional lives.

Students from all majors discuss their original work at the Student Research & Discovery Symposium. They perform compositions and creative writings, display their art and research posters and share oral presentations about academic work. Honors theses, independent research, internships, class projects and student-faculty research projects are on display.

Every year, classes are cancelled for the Student Research & Discovery Symposium. At Coe, all students have the opportunity to conduct and complete research as undergraduates.

The Clark Merit Award provides a scholarship equal to one year's tuition for each recipient. Awardees are selected by a committee of faculty members and a member of the Board of Trustees based on their integrity, intellect, leadership and social responsibility. The Clark Merit Awards are funded by an endowment created in 1995 by the late Coe alumnus K. Raymond Clark '30. Only five Kohawks are named Clark Merit Scholars each year.
